Introduction
The Fault in Our Stars is a book ( novel ) of John Green. He is an American author and YouTube content creator. He won the 2006 Printz Award for his debut novel, Looking for Alaska, and his fourth solo novel, The Fault in Our Stars, debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list in January 2012. This book revolves around two characters. Both characters are cancer patients, one gets throat cancer and one is osteosarcoma. Both of them fall in love with each other. This is also a love story but completely different from the others. Which will surely touch your heart. So let’s turn on again.
Summary
The book begins with Hazel’s intro. She tells that her name is Hazel Grace Lancaster. hazel is a 16-year-old teenage girl with 4th stage thyroid cancer and has now spread to her entire lunge. She always has to carry an oxygen tank with her. The Hazel’s family includes her mother, her father and her nurse. Hazel’s mother thinks that Hazel is in depression. So she forces her to join a cancer support group. Hazel goes there but does not like anything there.
Hazel’s mother wants Hazel to make a lot of friends, but there is only one friend she made named Issac. One who has eye cancer. One day she is going out and then she collides with a boy named Augustus. While everyone is sitting, Hazel sees that Augustus is staring at her, then she also starts staring at him. Later, when they talk, it is revealed that both of them are mutual friends.
In talk, Augustus tells that he too has cancer and has lost one of his legs due to his cancer, he now walks with fake legs. But now his cancer has been cured but because of that he lost his leg.
Both of them were talking then Augustus takes a cigarette out of his pocket and put it in the middle of his teeth, seeing that Hazel get upset because cigarette is more deadly for cancer. But Augustus tells that he never smoke, just puts it in the middle of his teeth like he has stopped cancer with his teeth.
The book
Augustus invites Hazel to his house, both of them arrive at the house and meet Augustus’s parents and the two then move into the basement. Augustus gives hazel his favorite book. In return, Hazel also gives Augustus a book titled ‘An Impartial Affection‘ and then Augustus says that he will now call Hazel only when he finishes the book.
After a few days, after finishing the book, he meets Hazel and tells that the story of this book is quite strange. The book is finished in the middle and the lead role of the story, whose name is Anna, dies in the middle, which is also the narrator of the book. Due to which the ending of this book remains incomplete.
Augustus tells Hazel that we have to talk to the author of this book and ask about the end of this book, Hazel agrees she also wanted to know the end of this book. She says that she mailed the writer many times but there was no response from his side.
The writer
The author’s name is Van Houten and Agustus states that he spoke to the writer’s assistant and is ready to talk to us. Hazel becomes happy after hearing this and goes home to mail the author. And after seeing so much effort, the author himself replies to them.
The author tells that if May tells you all here then the details may be leaked, so I will be able to tell you the ending and you will have to come to me. He states that he lives in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam
Hazel becomes very happy after listening to the writer and her mother is also very happy to see that her daughter is so happy after a long time. But her mother tells her that it will cost a lot to go there and our condition is not right now and your condition is also not good and in this condition I will not send you alone.
When she tells this to Augustus, he says that every wish in our cancer group is fulfilled, no matter what it is. Hazel then tells that she has completed her wish by going to Disney Land.
Augustus calls Hazel to a picnic, he gives her 2 tickets and says that he has convinced everyone for you.
They all leave for Amsterdam. When they reaches, they sees what a beautiful place Amsterdam is. The next day they go to meet the writer. As soon as they meet the author, Hazel starts asking him a lot of questions, but seeing this, they were shocked that he is talking something else. The writer treats them very harshly and he also makes fun of them that in such a situation they should take care of themselves.
Tragedy
One day after arriving from Amsterdam, suddenly Augustus calls Hazel and asks her to come home and take him to the hospital. Hazel gets nervous after hearing that. When they are both in the hospital, Augustus says that he wants to go to the same picnic place with her.
Hazel realizes that her cancer is now back. And she realizes that now Augustus doesn’t have much time. Because he is now in a wheelchair, his legs are not working.
After 8 days, a call comes to Hazel’s family and they realize that Augustus is no more. On hearing this, Hazel starts crying and breaks down. She attends Augustus’s Funeral and while giving a speech, sees that Van Houten is also here. He tells Hazel that he was in touch with Augustus. Hazel is upset after hearing this and begins to leave, when she sits in her car, then the writer also goes and gives her a letter.
Hazel sees that Van Houghton is drunk, she becomes angry and crushes the letter and throws it away. Then she goes away, then Issac comes and asks if she have read that letter or not. He tells her that Augustus gave it to the van houten to give it to you. Then she starts searching for the letter, reads it and remembers Augustus.
And this is how this book ends.

This book is included in our list of Greatest 101 books. The story is a different sort of love story. The book is narrated by Hazel. Which has been done very well, you will be completely immersed in this book. This book is loved by girls and those who are of a slightly emotional type. If you are of some emotional type, please keep tissue paper with you while reading. This is our advice.
In this book, we have shown about a book which is very close to Hazel’s heart. It happens to all of us that some book is close to our heart, which we like the most, something like this is also here. Which we liked very much. This is the most popular book by John Green of No Doubt.
The language style of the book was sweet and simple. The words were easy to understand. Only a few words were found that were difficult, the rest were not something that was difficult. Talking about character development, All the characters of the book have done their work well, the characters are mature and fantasize as any normal teenager does.
every character has fit in its place and made the book fantastic. Truly, a very impressive book.
