One day Shiva convinces the clan that there is a region called Meluha, we should go and live there. The peoples of meluha lives a decent, simple and luxurious life across these mountains. we should go. After talking and arguing, everyone agrees. And set out for Meluha.

When all the tribesmen reach the land of Meluha, they are shocked to see the beauty of it. Greenery, paved roads, paved buildings and the size of their houses so that their entire tribe lives in it.

Seeing that the health of all the tribes deteriorates after drinking the medicine of the Meluha people, Shiva becomes very worried and goes to seek help from Ayurvati. Hearing this, she gets on with her work and goes for help with her co-workers.

Shiva felt a strange cold in his throat after drinking Ayurvati’s medicine, he also went to Ayurvati to treat it. Ayuravati is stunned upon seeing Shiva’s throat, she sits on her knee and starts crying. She says, O Neelkanth, we have been waiting for you for so many years.

Maharaj Daksha tells Shiva that according to a legend, Neelkanth will come. Who will not be from Meluha and when he drinks Somaras, his throat will turn blue. The same will be Neelkanth. Then Shiva realizes that the medicine he drank as soon as he arrived at Meluha was Somaras.

Some quotes we all need to know.

A person’s ethics and character are not tested in good times. It is only in bad times that a person shows how steadfast he is to his dharma.

There are many realities. There are many versions of what may appear obvious. Whatever appears as the unshakeable truth, its exact opposite may also be true in another context. After all, one’s reality is but perception, viewed through various prisms of context.

If you make a person believe that his misfortune in this birth is due to his sins in his previous birth, he will resign himself to his fate and not vent his fury on society at large.

We believe that everything in the world is a carrier of shakti or energy. The plants, animals, objects, our bodies, everything carries and transmits energy. But the biggest carrier of energy that we are physically in touch with is Mother Earth herself — the ground that we walk on.

Insight/Review

This book is one of our list of 101 Greatest Fiction Books. The story is so exciting that you will not be able to stop yourself from reading it. The words have been described and selected so closely and correctly that are well appreciated.

One thing we would like to mention is that this book will distract you at every turn that, this story is something else that we have heard a different about Shiva. So we would like to say that after reading this book do not make any assumptions, it is just the story of Amish. Though it has many truths, it is different from the Puranas except for the name in the book.

We were watching Amish’s interview in which he has told that this whole series is on top of an idea of what is evil. There is a philosophy associated with each of his books, he always tries to give a philosophy. And this seems to me the best thing about him.

As we said, do not make any assumptions with this book. It is told in this book that Mahadev is a title or position as well as Vishnu is also a title or position. Vayuaputra elects Mahadev and Malayaputra elect Vishnu. Here Vishnu’s job is to reform the society and Mahadev’s work is to end evil.

If we explain in a direct language, the teachings or lesson of the book are the same that we always read and understand, but Amish has told it in a new way. It is written in the Gita that, truth is one, intelligent people tell it differently. (Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti).

The language style of the book was sweet and simple. The words were easy to understand. No hard words to see. Talking about character development, There is a lot of character in the book, it happens that due to more character the book gets buried somewhere. We have never seen such thing here. Rather, all the characters in the book were playing their roles well. All characters get their time and space to grow. Which is a very good thing. Truly, a very impressive book.

Conclusion

We never thought that anyone could make Hindu mythology so interesting and bring Shiva as a man of flesh and bone before your eyes. In the whole trilogy it has been told what is evil. And speaking of this book, in this it has been told that it is evil to be or look different from others, are those peoples are bad who are different from us. Every page has the ability to bring the complete picture before your eyes. A book that can definitely make you fall in love with Shiva. Rich in action, romance, life lessons, strategy, twist and turn. It is definitely worth reading.

Hope many people would read this book, a must read book in anyone’s list

Strongly recommend Everyone to read this wonderful book
