Summary

The story has two main characters. Julian and John. John, who used to work under Julian, also wanted to live a life of joy like Julian. He was among the richest lawyers in the world. They had everything. A large house with a privet plane and a red Ferrari, a summer home for the summer season at the coldest place. And everything that a human being expects.

But despite having 300 million in the bank account, he was not happy. The passion for money and work had increased so much that its effect in their personal life had become serious. He used to work for 17–18 hours a day and wasted more time in office. His marriage was also broken due to these reasons.

One day while in a dispute in the court room, suddenly a pain arose in his chest, seeing that all the people in the room were taken aback. After a while he fell into the ground and started flapping. A doctor was quickly called and rushed to the hospital. Seeing his condition, the doctor told him that you will either have to leave his job or his life.

 The Mystical land

Julian was confused to hear this. He had a heart attack at the age of 53, he started appearing at the age of 60 in 53. Then he understood that he has to give importance to life. He sold all his property without telling anyone else, his house and his favorite Ferrari too. And he chose spiritualism, and he left for his mysterious country and went to India.

After spending a few months in India, he starts serving in a temple. He befriends a priest in the temple, he tells Julian that you will find answers to your questions in Sivaana.

Sivaana. Where is it Julian asked, but the priest did not have the answer for this, he said that no one knows its address, it is located in the peaks of Hilmalaya. People there are extremely energetic and have attained spirituality.

Journey to Sivaana

Julian began his journey. The place could be located at such a height that there was no information. This was also the reason that no one agreed to go with Julian in his collaboration. But Julian’s journey was alone, he only had to do it.

Now he was in the peaks of the Himalayas, there was no sign of the local area. And there was no sign of the sivaana either. It had been 6 days of traveling to him and he had not even seen any person for the last 6 days. Now he did not even know where he was going, just he was walking.

On the seventh day. He sees a human. Julian was shocked to see a human in this height. He shouted to the man, but unlike him, the man ran away as soon as he heard Julian’s voice. Julian also ran after him screaming and the human finally stopped.

Yogi Raman

The people and saints Julian had gone out to find had finally found them. He tells Julian that What you are looking for, I am one of them and my name is Yogi Raman. Upon hearing this, Julian was very happy and Yogi Raman takes Julian with him.

After staying in Sivaana for a few days, Yogi and Saint gives Julian all the education that can make Juillian’s life beautiful. And take a promise from him that he should also provide this lesson to others. After receiving his education, Julian leaves.

Julian returns to his country and meets John. At first John does not know him because he seems to be a healthy young man of 35 years and then he shocked to see that he is Julian.

As Julian promised Yogi Raman, he agrees to give his knowledge to John as well.

Enlightened learning

Julian tells John that there are 7 lessons to living a beautiful life. 7 Qualities of Enlightened Education, which I learned from across the Himalayas. Master your Mind, Follow your purpose, Practice Kaizen, discipline, Respect your Time, Selflessly serve others, Embrace the present. By doing these 7 things everyday, a person can lead a brilliant life. He will not only see a change in himself but he will also be able to make a change by influencing the people around him. Yogi Raman has explained these 7 lessons to me as a story. Initially I had trouble understanding but eventually I knew it.

Story

Imagine that you are in a very beautiful garden. There are many beautiful and fragrant flowers in that garden which are of different colors. Which is enough to fascinate anyone. Sometime while walking in the garden, you see that there is a lighthouse. You are stunned by the huge look of the lighthouse. There is a gate under that tower and you see a huge sumo wrestler running towards you from there. You are also surprised to see that the Sumo wrestler weighing 900 kg and 9 feet tall is wearing nothing but a red wire Loincloth.

As he is running towards you and suddenly his foot falls in a very old gold stopwatch and he slips and falls from it. On seeing it, it seems that he fell and died but he wakes up after some time. He wakes up with the scent of a rose flower next to him. When he looks around to his right, he sees a path which is filled with diamonds and jewels. And then that huge sumo wrestler goes out in that way.

John feels very strange to hear this and he says whether it was a joke. What a strange story this is.

Julian says I had the same reaction. Then Yogi told Raman that I could not understand how to give you the wisdom of my years and then I made this story and thought to understand you.

In this story, the 7 greatest principal of life is hidden. What I want to explain to you, Let’s throw light in it.

Principal no. 1

The Garden

That green garden is nothing but your own mind. If you put good seeds in your mind then you will get good fruits. If you always keep garbage in your mind, that is, negative things and negative thoughts, rudeness, Anger. Then you will never be able to live a real life. If you keep the good things in your mind, that is, love, kindness, empathy, respect, affection, then it will always do you good by keeping you happy. Your thoughts will become pure.

Principal no. 2

The Lighthouse

Lighthouse symbolizes your goal to your passion. As a lighthouse guides a ship, it shows them the right path. In the same way, you also have to find the lighthouse of your life and that huge lighthouse will help you in achieving your goal.

Principal no. 3

The Sumo Wrestler

That giant sumo wrestler Symbolize to Kaizen. Kaizen is a Japanese word that means continuous learning. Just as a sumo wrestler has to learn and keep moving in the discipline, we should read and learn at certain times of the day so that we can improve our mind and body.

Principal no. 4

Red Cable Wire

That red cable wire symbolizes human’s discipline and self-control. As a cable wire is made of thin wire, those thin wires are very weak alone but when combined together they become very strong. In the same way, our self control and discipline is also made of small things. These small disciplines bring a big changes in life.

Principal no. 5

The Stopwatch

That old gold stopwatch symbolizes time. Every person gets only 24 hours a day, but a happy person Is different from an unhappy person, by his use of time. An unhappy person never uses his time properly, therefore he is always disappointed while a happy person always respects his time and uses it properly which makes him always happy.

Principal no. 6

The Aromatic Rose

Here that fragrant rose symbolizes helping others. The happiness that you will get by helping others will not be found anywhere else. We should continue to help everyone, its happiness is incredible and that makes us a good person.

Principal no. 7

Path of diamonds

That diamond-filled road represents the present day. We are often so busy with our past or future that we stop living today. The present is the most expensive thing we have got. No wealth of the world can buy our present, this is today, which will give us happiness tomorrow, which will be our happiness today, which we will remember tomorrow. Our present is our diamond.

This 7 Principal Julian tells John and takes a promise from him that the lessons I have given you will teach you more people. And then Julian leaves from there.

And this is how this book ends.
